The Consignment Gallery is currently CLOSED.
For those of you reading for the first time that we have closed our doors...so sorry. The decision was made in July of 2014 that it was no longer financially viable for us to continue doing business and the building was placed on the market for sale.
And since that realator's sign went up in July of 2014, Cindy and I often felt that all we were doing was discussing the closing of the store and all of the subjects surrounding it--the financial, emotional, and practical. It has been bittersweet. For anyone who has owned and operated a business, you can certainly understand the enormous amount of time and energy it takes to make everything come together everyday. It feels like you can never do enough and never devote enough time. I also have a family that I love and adore and a beautiful home that love and felt like I could never do enough and never had enough time for as well. The flipside of that coin is the love of what I did. I love the second-hand business. I love the people--many of which have been with me since the first place in 2008!!!
So what about Consignees??? If you had items remaining in boxes, that had not been placed on the floor for sale, you were either contacted and given the option to pick up those boxes or donate them. Many of you had multiple boxes and we agreed to store those boxes for a possible re-opening in the Spring. If you were not contacted your items were either sold or donated. If we decide NOT to re-open I will contact those of you who have boxes stored and we will make arrangements for pick-up. I will then have a Barn Sale to sell off my racks, shelves, etc. (Michelle, you might get those book shelves yet!!)
I am currently in the process of updating accounts and mailing checks. If you are waiting for a check please be patient-I have over 900 accounts! :)
If you have any specific questions please proceed to the CONTACT ME section of this website and shoot me an email.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT, UNDERSTANDING, AND WARM WISHES. I have received numerous--to numerous to count--emails, texts, and facebook messages giving me support and good vibes. I appreciate it more than you can know...hope to see you in the Spring!!

When I take a preliminary look at the numbers, I can see strong, consistent sales in certain departments: clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, and accessories. All holiday decor Valentines Day through Christmas. Craft items also do very well--fabric, stamps, etc. etc.
As I spend the next several weeks updating accounts, paperwork, and doing tax preparaton I will be gathering the true numbers needed to make an informed decision about the possible re-opening.
I already have the location. But until paperwork is signed I cannot officially give out that information. The gentleman that owns the business has been generous with his offer. The building is gorgeous and would be ideal...my educated guess would be that my expenses would be cut by more than half...I just have to see where the rest of the numbers fall...sorry that I cannot be more decisive right now.
For those of you who would like to hold onto their items for a possible re-opening, here is a short list of what we will be taking:
ACCESSORIES (make-up, perfume, curling irons, headbands, etc.)
ALL HOLIDAY DECOR FOR ALL HOLIDAYS
